May I add my congratualations on a fine start to astro imaging. Practice is the main key to sucess as is getting a perfect polar align as is etc etc but above all remeber to rank your results against your own earlier ones, not with experts turning out stuff that makes the Hubble boys wonder why they bothered, and enjoy the journey.

Thanks Alex,
Good advice. I must say though that seeing the awesome pics others post just inspires me to try harder and shows me what can be achieved if I just keep at it. So I'm doing as you suggest looking to improve on my own performance while keeping an eye on what can be achieved.
I'm loving the journey too.

geez guys, great shots, i'm itching to do one of those soon once i get my gear up and running again, in the middle of a major project, so it wont be long....I hope
