How did you get it to go thru customs so fast? They held onto mine from Hutech for a few days before even notifying me of the GST cost. It spent more time in customs then travelling from Hutech to Australia.

What I have found with items over $1000AUD if you send your item through Aust post which is USPS in the states (National Post) then they seem to want to hold onto your parcel and even get you to provide information in the way of filling out custom and declaration forms.

With items over $1000AUD I have them sent via UPS not USPS as UPS is a stand alone contracted postage company who will do all this for you.

I just track the item online and once it lands in Australia I ring them up and pay the GST and custom fee over the phone so then the parcel is released immediately.

As you can see below..the order info was received 19:16 Friday Night and delivered 9:46am Tuesday.

Sure is...1 of 3 images had a satelite...but that didn't worry me as the purpose of the image was for testing.

I didnt know different postage methods affected speed through Customs.

Fantastic images, i need one of those camera's, so i can hook it up to the ED80 i'm buying from Starlker (Geoff)

Ps, don't suppose you would swap for a Pentax IstD.....

hey striker, im gonna get that camera, you have really helped me make up my mind, and from looking at your test shot through the 80ed, it really makes me want to get that camera. that camera is stunning.
