Wow Marc, that's just beautiful. I really really like this.
Will you be doing a colour version too?
This is now IOTW.

Thanks a lot Mike. No I don't think so. It would require too much work.

Wow that's really beautiful and nicely processed. It's great to swim around in the large version. I'd be eagerly awaiting a colour rendition too, will there be one...?
And congratulations on IOTW!

Thanks Narayan. I'm glad you think it was planned but as my mate always eloquently put it I tend to do 'jazz' imaging. I did a panel on M16/17 then M8/20. As the week turned out to be clear every night I filled the gaps in between and it turned out ok

Thanks again Rolf. I wish there was but it would be a lot of work to do with 6 panels x 3 colors. Maybe one day I do it with the OSC but I'm more interested in doing more Ha of very large chunks of sky with a 35mm and 28mm and see what's outhere. I'm waiting for the next clear nights and want to image the Eridanus Bubble alongside the Barnard Loop. Those are very big structures spanning across constellations.

I'm a bit awe-struck. That's an amazing panel Marc.
If it's ok I'd like to link it on my FB page (trying to educate my friends who don't yet 'get it'. Hard job but someone should do it.
Again. Awe Struck.
And news just to hand: Congratulations on IOTW

Super work, Marc.
And, yes, mosaics are a pain in the butt. My Rho Ophiuchus mosaic is going to span 3 years of effort, haha.
Congratulations on Image of the Week, too!

Thanks mate. Yes it can especially if you do color with filters. But hey, Rho will still be there next year, and the year after.... no rush.

Just caught up with this one - great work and well deserved IOTW! I see what you mean as well regarding how useful these ultra wide field images would be in targeting objects of interest for longer fl's.

Too kind Rob. Did you manage to do some more Ha with your lens? I shot Ara with 35mm last night. Moon is getting a little bright but turned out sort of ok.

Thanks a lot David for the kind comments. Glad to see you find the fields useful for chasing stuff.
