I used my mobile camera for my entry as I wasn't confident enough to use my Nikon seems pretty good for a mobile camera. Great photo's this month

Woz - there's a lot than can be recovered in post processing. You can turn most photos into good images if you know how! Check here to see some great street photography taken with a mobile phone - and the guy is Australian: http://mobilephotogroup.com/profile_baranovic.html

You're always on call Humayun. When you're next able, eh!

I'm having a big weekend I think. I'm heading in to my office in Rozelle on Friday, having dinner with a vendor who wants our business, and then heading off to Cockatoo Island first thing Saturday morning for Biennale. Shoot there all day and then shoot again as an official photographer at the Gangster's Ball on Saturday night! Should be great fun. Then, Sunday, down to the Rocks to do it all again. Can't wait.

Love to come on Saturday but, at the moment I just don't have the time.

Maybe Sunday for a while?

Oh that sounds so tempting Chris, I wish I could.
As of tomorrow I'll be returning to work slowly, after my extended break to recover due to health reasons.

Funnily enough, we're just getting ready to go down to Darling Harbour for a gala dinner at my eldest daughter's presentation of the State Medal in Horticulture (third time).
I'll be the proud dad taking 'happy snaps' with the 70-200mm monster.
It's apparently a big do, with pollies and other people from the industry present.

Andrew

PS looking forward to your photos.

It doesn't look like I'm going to get another opportunity to have another go at street before the end of the month. I have been going through my pics looking for anything that fits the street bill, but its a tough call... those that are close probably aren't very good, because I haven't really done any street since I went digital.

Here's my John Wests anyway...

Al.
