Well done Nettie, what a thrill it must be to get one of your pics into a magazine that represents the area you live in- it must feel very special!

In the mail today I received a copy of Somerset Shires "Discover Somerset Country 2012" tourist magazine. Well, I turned to page 4 and looking back at me was one of my own landscapes!!
A very early morning image of a foggy Lake Somerset with the obligatory dead trees.

It was one I'd submitted to a photo contest earlier this year. Part of the agreement was that they could publish the photo, giving credit of course.

The magazine will be in all the Tourist Information spots and all the motels in the district for the next year.

I'm kinda stoked about this.
As Former Queensland Premier was want to say, Another Media Tart
Great work Jeanette
Cheers

Nah, she could get a job as a publicity manager!! Kim (Lazarus with a triple bypass) Beasley could make a comeback with her pushing his case.

This particular one was a submission to a photo comp Warren.
I've submitted the occasional photo to the mags in the past.

My work wouldn't be getting "out there" if it wasn't for social networking.
It's lead to many opportunities.
One of my proudest moments was last year when NASA Challenger Learning Centre were downloading my Lunar Eclipse images as fast as I could upload them.
