Hi Paul

When I tried to invoke the Wavelet function at that stage, I get a Registax error message of "Cannot open avi file" so I just use the 50 stack of frames as is.

I developed the technique through trial and error, basically trying to navigate a processing procedure that avoided Registax error messages, so it may not be the most effective or logical set of process steps?

Please see my response to your post on avi storage.

Yes - it will be great to meet you and others, and I'm really looking forward to some dark skies at the Qld Astrofest as my deep sky imaging has ground to a halt.

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Dave

Anything less that say, 350 / 400, gives me grain the size of golf balls. It seems as if I am on the limit of my set up and any slight change in the wrong direction tips the balance down hill big time.

Cheers
