Or do what the Devonport City Council does, use dehydrated water in the fountains. It stops the hoons frothing it up with detergent.

I find it quite amazing Steve how very few people know about this. While it is the great balancer, removing huge amounts of CO2 from the atmoshphere, at the same time creating it's own overheating problems.

Greenhouse water

I love the idea of dehydrating the water - that seems the answer. And just to help it along, if we go all out for nuclear energy, we can convert what's left into heavy water which won't be able to lift off the ground into the atmosphere.
