Is Kulnura on tonight Anthony?

I know the weather is terrible but it might clear.
Looks like I have the go ahead to go tonight if it's on.

Anyone else?

We had another lovely night out at Kulnura last night, thank you Anthony for your hospitality.

The weather was patchy with cloud rolling in and out during the first half of the evening. Later it cleared in true Kulnura style and we got some viewing/imaging done.

Nice turn out and nice selection of scopes to look through.
I took my two young daughters along and they had a great time using the 8" LightBridge. Elizabeth really loves her scope and it was so easy for her to use.

Joe (Astropolak) and his wife were there and we spent time comparing eyepieces and scopes, great company.
The owl was there too, Geoff, always great for a laugh.
Jakob was setup with the laptop and Meade ETX 105.

Anthony was sharing some fantastic views of Jupiter and Omega Cent in his DOB Water Heater using various EP's and my 6mm Radian. Great scope froggy.

Rod came later with his friend Doug and we were showing Doug the various types of scopes, trying to temp him into the hobby, hopefully he is now hooked.
Rod was sharing wonderful views in his awesome 10" LX 200.

It was great to catch-up with Octane who came up from Canberra this week to Sydney so took the opportunity to come up to Kulnura. Always a pleasure mate. We all had a hand in installing Bob's Knob's onto Octane's LX90.
Joe finished off collimation for us and the views of Joop were fantastic.
Hope your images turn out Humayun, can't wait to see them.

Joe also gave us fantastic views through his Pentax 10mm EP, which is now on everyone's wish list.

My daughters were passing around "Milky Way chocolates" while we were waiting for the clouds to clear.

All up a very enjoyable evening all round and once again it was the company that just made the evening so special.

We missed the company of the other regulars, like Iceman, John B and a few others. Hopefully next time guys.

Yeah, thanks for everyone's company, and your welcome of Doug. From his comments afterwards, it sounds like he may become a regular.

It was great to see H back, and in one piece (for those who heard his story). Also nice to see your kids, RB. Maybe I will bring Jack and Noah the next time your kids come?

I found the weather very frustrating....even when the clouds cleared the seeing was very soupy. Still, I saw some nice views in Sagittarius for the first time in the season after midnight, so that made it worthwhile.

See you all next month.

sorry I missed it guys, but I had a bit of car trouble and didn't want to risk the drive incase I ended up walking 40 km home. Sounds like the viewing wasn't too good but the banter was it's usual self.
