Tried for a duck, then the pelicans, but came back to the Rosellas. The Grandkids had a ball at this place.

Kool dude - making a splash!

Hello

Here is a photo of a rainbow Lorikeet cooling off in our back garden.

Pentax *istDS DSLR with Sigma 55-200mm f4-5.6 lens.
1/350 sec at f8, 200mm, 800 ASA.
Manual focus. RAW capture, finished in Corel PhotoPaint 12.
Photo taken on 20th April 2006.

Here's an emu in the Flinders Ranges National Park, taken last weekend. These guys were everywhere, including the roads.
