Salut Jerome et bienvenue a IIS.

J'ai lu ton site internet. Tres interessant.

Hi all,

today, I have discovered an interesting thing ! In a painting named Madonna di Foligno, Raphael has represented the fall of a meteorite ! Why he has represented the fall of a meteorite on a religious painting ? Probably because he has seen or heard this phenomenon which took place on September 4, 1511 in Lombardy.

http://jdc-meteorite.e-monsite.com/m...foligno-01.jpg

(picture from : planet-terre.ens-lyon.fr)

In any case, I have created a page on this topic : http://jdc-meteorite.e-monsite.com/p...i-foligno.html

See you soon !
