Looks like clear skies this weekend. I bet you can't wait for first light.

Give it some wheels and we can start a Dalek revolution.

Nice one, don't worry there'll be plenty of clear nights in the near future to enjoy it

It IS real. And you don't have to tell, the rain gods KNOW.

Rod, she won't becoming down to Coona. It would be pointless given that we have the Mary Rose and Edwin to look through.
Besides, I only have a small car. Once my imaging gear is in, there is room for little else.

No worries! Yes, with Edwin and the Mary Rose, you'll have more than enough photons to enjoy.

I will be interested to see your imaging gear.

Fingers crossed for clear skies.

As per facebook, I reckon the only name for a scope that sparkles (and is owned by an astro chick) is Edward......!

Cheers

Congrats Jeanette, that's a great looking scope.

I think you may have to change the name to "Cloud Watcher" for the time being though.

Hi jjj,

Well done, I don't know which of you two is looking finer there (yes, I do really, I do ).

I'll be most interested to see what you think of the Synscan controller. There have been some bugs, and flash upgrades to kill them, and it's a little idiosyncratic in some ways I think.

Keep well
