If anyone is on the phone to Nettie, please ask her if she wants me to duck up to Kilcoy and secure her scope. I'm half an hour away and I'll supply a phone number by PM if that will help.

Hi JJJ,

Not the place to be on your birthday but having said that, not the place one wants to be
at any time. Rest up, concentrate on looking after number one and good luck.

Peter - Nettie has asked me to pass on her sincerest thank-you's for your kind offer. She's leaving hospital in an hour (I presume temporarily) to go home and grab some things. Again - thanks for the offer - it's appreciated!

WOW - what a present for your birthday JJJ - a pacemaker!

i have to tell you - it is apparently no big deal these days

we had one of our mates have a turn one wednesday nite at tennis and shipped him off in an ambo for safety sake
he had a pacemaker put in on the monday morning and was back playing tennis with us the week after
