Yes i did see them and they are just plain awesome as well.
The words storm / lightning / volcano or earthquake just catch my eye.

Spectacular images Bart!!! I'm still waiting for another decent night-time storm here in Brisbane. All the recent ones have been too early in the afternoon (and therefore too bright) to do the long exposures required to capture lightning.
