Absolutely Fantastic shot I love the way it puts the horse head in perspective I have never seen it before visually and thanks to your stunning picture I know where to look
somehow looking at a book shot is not the same as your efforts from your balcony

My mount is the G-42. And spikes yes or not - I am not sure. There are people who like it and there are people who hate it. I think I will make an aperture mask and check it out.
I love the spikes but they destroy some details. I will see...

Diffraction pattern

Werner this is very lovely indeed. Curious about the very pleasing diffraction spikes, how did you achieve them? Thanks!

@Warren,
the spikes are caused by the aperture of the Canon 200 lens. I did nothing special to achieve it.
