Happy Christmas all!!

Openned up the wrapping to find a new QHY5 autoguider and a note saying a new scope (14" or 16" dob) is on the way once I decided where to put it! I am also told that a piggyback bracket is on order for putting the refractor on the SCT. Well done to my wife Mel!! She has really put in a big effort and a lot of research to work out what to get me!

Talking Xmas in Colorado...

Happy Holidays... boxing day now in Australia, still enjoying Xmas in the USA. I guess I'm one of the last in line to wish IIS'ers a safe and happy holiday.

An hour to go before the traditional Xmas meal of a 16lb turkey, stuffing with all the trimmings, cranberry sauce (for those who like cranberry ) and pumpkin pie ...

Bright sunny day here in Colorado, biggest disappointment for me is the fact that the angle for Lovejoy doesn't allow us to see it here in the North. Looks like the angle with respect to the sun means they rise together, so it's washed out in the dawn light...

Happy Holidays
OIC!
