Last night was Hell!

They know 100% that some idiot lit the fire.
The closest it came to our house was 1.5k, but we did get a bit of ember attack for a while.

I went around the affected area today to get some pics but soon gave up as some of the scenes in front of me brought me to tears, seeing my town so devastated. The last report given is 6 houses destroyed and some sheds, machinery etc. The fire is still going but sort of under control.

Here are some pics from today.

Pic2: Across the road from the Camp

My thoughts have been with you the past 24 hrs Ken.
Glad to hear you guys made it through o.k. but very unfortunate on the people who lost thier homes and machinery and live stock.
I just seen the first of it on the news and its just devistating and to think some MORON was stupid enough to deliberatly light it!!!!!

It's funny what knowing someone in the effected area does. When I hear of a horrible disaster normally, I will feel sorry for those involved.
Since meeting Ken the other weekend, and actually going to the place, it feels more personal. More real.

Our thoughts are with you Ken and your whole community.
