I should add that we had a nice dinner and she scored a matching emerald/diamond necklace and emerald/diamond earrings that went with the colour of her favourite dress. Its not all one way here!!

Thanks too to Logan (Logieberra) from IIS who minded the kids!!!

Heading towards our 21st together. Five years ago she and the kids got me into astronomy in the first place by getting me an 8" dob for my birthday

Marriage

Before I got married, I had a second-hand Tasco 76mm f/15 on an equatorial mount (15TE). In 2 weeks, I will have been married 24 years. In that time I have accumulated a Losmandy GM8 with Meade 10" SCT, 90mm Maksutov with chinese copy of a EQ3, NexStar 80SLT and lots of other bits and pieces including a lathe & milling machine. Works for me! Yes, it helps not to have too much in common .

Now with the downturn in the economy, i.e. retrenchment in Jan 2010, I have to rethink what else I can still accumulate - but I am doing some serious thinking about the Vixen Sphinx SXW that is currently on offer .
