Thats great news Doug.
I know how worrying just the uncertainty can be so getting at least one answer would be a huge weight of your mind.

I was worried you'd been too quiet Doug. So glad to hear you've had a weight lifted off your shoulders.

Fantastic news Doug. All the best.

I've personally been down that road as well and was so relieved to learn mine wasn't the Big C from being told I had 6 months at age 34. its like you get a new lease on life. Changes your perspective.

Lucky you Doug, what a scare.

Hope this doesn't mean that you are going to restart sucking
on those filthy dirty smelly cigarettes, DOES IT DOUG? Their nothing more than a concentration of vile and putrid pollutants.

If you feel the need to stick something in your mouth and suck why not try a DUMMY I'm sure any of your grand kids would prefer that you did.

Cheers Doug. I'm really very pleased for you.

PS, you're never to old to be lectured to. especially from a distance

I doubt I will go back on cigarettes again but to be honest it is this small minded approach to cigarettes that gets most smokers backs up. I enjoyed several of these vile putrid things each day which reduce the tax burden of the non smoker imencely.
I didn't notice the lecture on the evils of the dreaded drink which is apparently just as big a contributing factor with this type of cancer. Compounding the two and many should have been dead years ago.

I may well be a non smoker or at least a smoker who chooses not to smoke but suspect I will miss several cigarettes each day from here on. Lucky for me the results weren't cancer and I get to live another day and I do hope I will maintain my thoughts on smoking and smokers and show them the compassion often forgotten about. If you enjoy it, do it.

And yes I am to old to be lectured to.

No lectures Doug just encouragement.

Giving up the smokes is bloody hard. I've tried and failed a number of times but have managed to cut the intake right down.

Going to have another go over the Christmas break.
