Thanks Mike. I'm pretty confident I could do better re noise in PI, but I should probably try and get more data too. Between trees and moon I'll be doing well to pull that off this year. I think I will be revisiting this one though - such a great galaxy

Repro'd

Found some to revisit this one and work on the green cast and skirting noise. Couldn't resist playing with PI's new HDR Multiscale Transform tool too to draw out a tad more dust
A friend asked me why the centre was previously so sharp and the outskirts fuzzy, so as well as showing more of the interesting dust hopefully makes the masked sharpening less intrusive. Still some noise of course, but didn't want to be too heavy handed as suspect at least some of this is true galaxy "halo" and trying not to end up with that overprocessed plastic look.
