Hey, how'd I miss comenting on this beauty

Great result Marco, the addition of plenty of lum has enabled you to show up that faint Cirrus nicely - great work

Funny how things progress, like the Dumbell M27 we don't bother with an image of the Helix now unless it shows the extra outer shells...and now not unless it shows galactic Cirrus

Oh wow! How sensational is this image. I now know why I only do 30 sec monochrome images of galaxies. Just superb.

Thanks Peter.. well, actually you can get quite deep with 30 secs images too, just need to sum up some thousands subs

Marco, that is absolutely sublime. The best detailed and processed image I've seen yet of the helix. I just love the colours and the information in your image and it makes me want to do better with my own imaging. Thanks for posting.
