I don't get it Henry. You've just spent the best part of $850 on your iPad and $60 for the best software on the platform is a deal breaker that makes you go back to a Windows machine? Huh?
SkySafari will really shine on the iPad. Considering you've spent all that money, a few extra bucks, perhaps even in a couple of weeks, will be well worth the money spent!
I haven't taken my telescope outside in over a year. Hopefully I'll get around to it one day.
I have a Windows 7 based Leader 10 tablet computer with an old version of Stellarium on it. I think I'll just uninstall it and install the latest version of Stellarium. At least the Leader tablet might get some use and I get to save some money.
I think the highlighted sentence above say it all. Astronomy has taken a back seat in my life for the time being.
Anyway, I now have the current version of Sellarium installed on my Leader 10 tablet computer although not set up yet.
