Ha Ha, that's how I got rid of Possums in our roof.
Over here you need a license to trap them, so it was easier this way.

Good story and glad it ended well!

I'm not sure where they're getting in. I've been within a few inches of one that sometimes sits inside the toilet wall. I've been on "the throne" and it taps or scratches the wall so I tap and scratch my side of the wall back. I think that possum might be getting in under the house but I haven't been under the house since I saw a brown snake near the back door.

Well I know there is at least 3 because I've heard 3 in different parts of the house at the same time.
