The Lucam software was set to 0.9 milliseconds.

The Skynyx 2-2 can only deliver 12 fps at full res....but it did well in getting 7 frames with the ISS crossing the sun. (the last was partial hence not included)

Cracker jack image Peter, tried for this several months back but I was a little too far off the centerline. Really nice to see a good image of the transit.

Thanks again guys. My wife thought it looked like ducks flying past the sun. Couldn't really argue the point.

I've modified my image processing a tad, same URL, but the ISS now looks a little clearer, and sun a little less processed.

Thanks Mike. I've attached a couple of pics taken from the capture location
(Heathcote Park..it was just a few hundred metres off the predicted centerline).

Thought about using more FL and a DSLR, but as the event was only going to last 0.34 of a second (!) , decided to capture an AVI, then use AVI stack and photoshop to re-layer the frames with the transit silhouette.

Thanks Ron. One more "on location" piccy, showing the Skynyx and Taka configuration, added below.

(keen eyed observers will note my G-11 still has the prototype one piece worm block attached...'cos if 'aint broke, dont fix it )
