A Panorama.

Thanks guys!

I didn't expect that. I was resigned to missing this one, until I saw Gary's "Navaho meals" which reminded me that I had that shot from Grouse Mountain and I just threw it in to "make up the numbers".

There's been a bit of discussion about using previously prepared photos, and while I think its good for the level of participation, personally I find it much more rewarding to actually produce something new for the comp. Unfortunately, it wasn't happening for me this month, but I do appreciate all the shots that attacked this difficult (I think!) challenge from different angles.

My passion for a lot of years was panoramas - images stitched together from 2 or more shots. In the interest of encouraging others to have a go at some panoramas, I've decided that should be the next topic: a panorama.

If you haven't done a panorama before, please have a go!

Al.

Great idea Al, and congrats on your image. Canada is such a lovely place to wander around with a camera.

Cheers,
Jason.

Congratulations, Al. A great photo of a very interesting looking establishment. And thanks for the suggestion Gary - I suspect they well might.

Oh NO!!
hahahaha

Guess what I have been playing with the last few days...
A panorama version of the image I submitted to this months challenge.
When I took the shots in 2008 I thought I would have a go at doing a panorama as the scene suited it.. 3 years later and I only just started on it.. lol
What a coincidence.

Oh well... I have a month to think of a new subject.
