Where are the clear skies likely for Wednesday 9th March?

If you want to use your telescope tonight, your best bet is to book a flight to either Canberra or Perth. Sydney is expected to have overcast conditions tonight but there is a chance that conditions may change to clear skies.

Where are the clear skies likely for Saturday 26th March?

Tonight there should be 6 cities with good observing weather.

Sydney on the other hand is looking more and more likely to have overcast skies tonight...however there is a chance that skies may clear from the west...... this chance is looking a little slim sadly.

Really? Hmmm... Might be hope yet.
Here in Brisbane, it's raining, ground is soaking wet, and the sky is covered in a thick blanket of grey cloud.
It will be interesting to see what tonight will hold.
Your report for Wednesday was spot on!

Suzy,

The sky in Brisbane will be clear from Sunday through till Wednesday night. I know this because I will be in Perth during this time. To those in Perth, you will experience cloud cover from Sunday night till Wednesday night. Sorry.

Mario

Guess what
I wanted to set up my new solar telescope today. I managed to get it mounted this morning and the clouds rolled in. They stayed all day. They started to clear just as the Sun became too low in the sky for the telescope to line on.

I won't be getting the LX200 telescope out tonight as I have other commitments but the sky is Clear!

Barry

Good to see Wednesday turned out well for you. Let me know if I was correct for last night as well. By my forecast you should have had clear skies through the night.
