Onya John

Only another $400 to go to the 20mm Nag eh!

But I'll tell ya what Mike, I'd like to hear how it performs after you've taken it out for a good spin in the f5.

Make sure you give us a review

Stu, when you get that shiny new 4" apo, what are you going to do with it without eyepieces to put in it and a mount to put it on??

He'll have to start a new Save-O-Meter for them when he gets the Tak,

Maybe even sell the Tak to finance the eyepieces,

pmsl... You guys are so funny. I was laughing for ages.

Sorry no commission.

The funny thing is Dave just rang me and said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"
I said that I was buying a Tak.

And that I sold the 22mm Panoptic because it was the one eyepiece that I could garantee that I would buy again as soon as I could. So, long term I don't lose anything and I gain a super duper scope (that's if it checks out OK next weekend. It's on hold ).

So yes I sold an absolute craker of an eyepiece that is probably my most used. So the 15mm and 35mm Panotics will have to hold the fort until I fill the gap with another 22 and eventually a 27. I have a long term evil plan.

You can buy 22m panoptics at the shop but you can't get a flourite Tak at shops anymore. A rare find.

The 22mm is a great performer optically Mike, I have viewed through this particular one myself

In fact in the 2" Jap barlow it was waaaaaayyy sharper than Daves 12nagt4.

Did I mention that I like panoptics?

Maybe John you could also take responsibility for the not-so perfect match between the 13 Nagler & my scope, and cover some of my losses..

Just kidding!

Mike, as discussed today, an awesome choice, you'll love it.

Rod,

Have you considered selling your house built on the side of a mountain beside the bay and buying a new house in a location where the seeing occasionally gets above 2/10 ?

Just kidding!

Truthfully Rod, it was unfortunate that the 13mm nag T6 didnt quite hold up at your place, which of course is where you do most of your observing. 192X in the 10" LX 200 should have been perfect for moon/planets/doubles

Actually, before the recent bushfires, I had been fantasizing about buying acreage near Mount White to improve seeing etc....

I'll have to borrow eyepieces before making major purchases in the future in that department.....always best to try before you buy.

Matt, I'm glad you are enjoying the 13 Nag in your scope. Sounds like a match made in heaven!
