Many thanks everyone for all those kind comments, looking, and in sharing my excitement. I'm so overjoyed and touched by all your responses! And so is Chrissy! And some of your sweet comments made me
*blush*
.

OIC for fixing the timing, Chrissy will deal with it today. She was very appreciative of the help, and made a comment of how nice the people are on here. I responded back very proudly in agreement.
Tony: She's no fun to play singstar with.

She used to always get "singstar" while I got told I was "tone deaf". The only song I ever matched her upon was Boy George's "Karma Chameleon"

. And plenty of stuff that I'd just throw the mike down in exasperation as they were so hard.

l I'm sure I sound like a cat in misery

, she doesn't get her talent from me

.
But mostly of what I'm truly proud of is her guitar playing. She's still learning of course, but she's come a long way, just in 12 months. I have always loved strings, and I have always had plenty of music in the house, so Christina was pretty much brought up on a love for it. But to actually here beautiful guitar strings, live in my home .... words cannot express ... I'll often drop whatever I'm doing, and listen and just take it in.
She's into everything... from Chuck Berry, Sinatra, Hendrix, jazz etc to current - a wonderfully large range of music genres. From the time she was a wee toddler (to today) I used to give her pop quizzes by asking who is singing when a song comes on. And to this day she still mixes up Neil Diamond & Jon English
