Someone voted and revived this thread, so .....

Many, many summers ago, in a city apartment, after coming home from a party, my girlfriend insisted on leaving the curtains open on our floor-to-ceiling glass windows/sliding door so the moonlight would stream into the bedroom. In my state, that seemed like a really good idea.

Long after daybreak, I woke up to look out across our balcony to the apartments across the laneway. It seems that sometime in the night my girlfriend had kicked off the covers on her side of the bed (nearest the window) and was, unknowingly, displaying her own heavenly body to the three young gentlemen on the balcony opposite, who seemed to be enjoying the view immensely.

That was the last time I slept with open curtains, moonlight or not!

They must have had exceptional seeing to be up all night

Ah, well, they were young lads, and no doubt "early risers".

I don't care much for moonlight, but I do like the sunlight reflected off the Moon

Cheers
Steffen.

I love the light, be it from the tv or the moon or the sun. I'm a shift worker so I have to sleep under any conditions.

I do hate total silence and darkness, eg blackouts or forgot to pay the electricity bill.

I especially like it when the Moon is low and the light reaches deep into the room.

Definitely love it. I find the silver of the moonlight to be one of the simplest and most beautiful things that nature has to offer
