Food joke

A guy came to my place for dinner and he asked what are we having and I told him we are having cow tongue. He went crazy running around saying he couldn't eat anything that was in a cows mouth he reckoned that you couldn't be sure where the cow had put the tongue. Well I asked what he would like instead and he said he would have eggs

Hi Geoff,

As a kid I liked tripe RAW. It's a wonder I am still alive (for other reasons too )

Cheers, Geoff

Hate fast foods, Maccas, etc. Heated styrofoam food.

Tomatoes are berries btw. Weird eh ?

What would a proper Italian Pizza be without mushrooms .. I do them on a stone in the BBQ ..
The very 1st pizza was just tomato, mozzarella and basil. Red, white and green to symbolise the Italian flag and was called Margherita after an Italian royal personage by that name. So I don't think traditional pizza had mushrooms.

Spinach, Sprouts hate with a passion but I will just tolerate broccoli although it tastes better in a salad than cooked

Now mushrooms will be a staple food because they grow in the dark and thrive on BS

Offal and associated products
Marzipan
Rubarb
Scrambled eggs & quiche products ( still scrambled eggs)
Blue veined cheese
Shellfish like mussels, oysters etc
Corriander
Weird food like crumbed tarantulas, crickets, dogs, still beating cobra hearts etc.

Love mushies, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, pumpkin, asparagus, lentils, Spinach, silverbeet, Brocoli cauliflower,
Strangely I can eat eggs boiled, fried, poached, but as soon as they are scrambled it's heave territory .... I'd love to know why, something must change chemically.

Mushrooms and cauliflower are evil!

And as Bill Cosby once said "I can eat something, someone else has been thinking with."

That also goes the same for the digestive tract and other internal organs like heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas, stomach etc etc.

Call me un-Australian....

I HATE VEGEMITE - the smell, the look and, although I've only experienced it once in my life, the taste.

I don't even consider pancreas and lungs food and had no idea anyone did. But I love mushrooms and you haven't lived untill you have had battered deepfried mushrooms and cauliflower.

another that comes to mind ...... Pineapples. eeeeeewwwwwww. Oh yeah., beetroots - the traditional "aussie" burger ingredient. Sick! Now, I love burgers, but truly hate those "Aussie" burgers which are inhabited by those purple minions.

Pinapples and mushrooms are the reason I hate Hawaiian and Surpreme Pizzas.

Oh yes, and most cheeses. Mmmm Fetta, tastes worse than it sounds. Mouse CHeese- Those mice must be high on smack to eat that thing!

Just to digress for a bit (sorry), the 1st real 'Modern' Pizza was just Pizza crust and tomato, and was called a Neopolitan Pie. It was created prior to 1825.
In 1889 cheese was added.

And yes, in 1889 they did add basil for Queen Margherita, but that is the only mention of those toppings being used until 1900's.

Back on topic, another thing I can't eat is fish.
No matter how much I like it I am allergic to it

Prawns. Crab and Flake (Shark) don't affect me so I eat them

Kidneys. I don't even like to touch them. I haven't had much of other offal except Lamb's fry but I'm not too keen on that either.

I'm not very fond of chillies either, the idea that putting your mouth through extreme pain is fun somehow hasn't caught on with me.
