Got a couple of books, the new Billy Thorp CD, a huge packet of Maltesers and a pair of Superman undies (to wear on the outside of course). No self respecting moderator should be without them.
I'm a little concerned they might clash with the Batman sox also found under the tree.

I thought I got a Canon 24-105mm F/4.0L lens, but it turned out to be one of those coffee cup look alike, pretty cool though, and some dark chocolate, and some other small stuff from the kids.

Leon - that is cruel and unusual punishment!
Me - I got one of those reclining camping chairs that are just perfect for lazing back in and observing the heavens. Even better was the fact my wife organised this as a complete surprise to me - I hadn't made even made any suggestions - she must have recalled me talking about how great they were. Now if we can just get some clear skies...

I did well this year. Half a dozen Blurays movies, one expensive shirt, one of those wireless charging pads for phones and stuff, a dozen exotic beers, whiskey from 3 countries (chivas, jammersons and wild turkey), heaps of chocolates, some cigars, a top gear Stig doll full of some thing or other and a coffee mug that says 'let's save some time ... I'M ALWAYS RIGHT'.
jjj, I also have the Dr.Who xmas special for you Did you see it yet?

I did pretty well this year. I got some cash, some books, a couple of DVD's and I am off after Chrissy to buy myself a metal lathe and some tooling and maybe even a new camera if I decide to spoil myself a bit more.

Got myself a little CF triplet second hand and stacks of chocolate.
As it's raining I have no choice but eat all the chocolate. Life's good.

Santa must have thought I have been very naughty, because I got sick right on christmas night! Pfft Santy!
Lucky I have xmas presents from people aside from Santa to see me through my miserablenessnessness....
A couple of Kathryn Jenkins CDs, a Mirusia Leuwerse CD, 3 boxes of chocolates, Mama Mia on BluRay, 2 pretty nighties, Coconut Body Shop bath gel, a cute top, a cheese platter, a gold pen with my name on it, a digital voice recorder (for astro obs) that sat in its box for so long because of poor weather, has now become xmas pressie from hubby , a couple of Ice in Space T-shirts from a good buddy on here, and a pair of 10x60 binos and a Skywatcher red/white light torch I got for myself . I scored well this year.
Oh, and hubby got for us (for him more like ) an industrial strength pressure washer which he gave a whirl Xmas eve on our front deck - he got a bit gun-ho with it - you can imagine my horror when I saw the deck covered in shredded pink flowers and leaves from my once lush pretty tubs of flowers. Wasn't happy as I was having Xmas at my place the next day & not so pretty now.
So now as I'm sick, I figure I can talk to myself on the recorder while watching Mama Mia, whilst throwing choccies in my mouth, in comfort in my new nighties in the dark as my head hurts using the red light torch to see what the heck I'm doing. My Burmese kitty keeps running off and hiding my fluffy slipper so I am constantly walking around with one cold foot while coughing my lungs out and sneezing my brains out.
