You will have to go through Suzy and myself first. Hoyah!

All I want for Christmas is clear skies and a bucket of mossie repellant...Oh, and 1970's Carl Sagan

And while you're at it you may as well throw in a 50 foot observatory so I can see above the trees in my yard and a 12" go-to and imaging rig. Kthx.

I also, have been very very good

They are going to be sacrificed to the hunger gods anyway at Christmas.

Santa already knows I been a very naughty boy anyway.

Just for the record I don't eat lamb/mutton or it's by products. And i could really hurt a lamb or any other animal.

I have to agree with Ken, lets turn the sun off. It's been beautifully clear this morning in North Bris.

Failing that, clear skies this coming Monday is all I ask for. Sure I'm getting a RDF tomorrow, but I want to see the geminids, and really, if its clear enough to see those, you could do some viewing in between...

Well, apparently only just talking about sacrifices convinced the weather into playing good. Can you believe it, last night, the very same day I received my brand new 10x60 binoculars (okay, so I bought something and just got found out ) the clouds opened up (after weeks!) for me to try them out, till 1 am even!. So there you have it -It was me everyone - thank me!

Now... so the weather keeps on staying clear, everyone better give me money so I can keep buying stuff I'm in urgent need of an XW14mm, I can almost guarantee two clear nights upon this purchase, trust me ... Please send notes, not coins.

Repeat after me.. "Oh hail weather Suzy"

And now that I feel good about my new found status, I will freely and openly admit that I.. er... well.. I eat lamb! But only as a sometimes food and providing it magically appears in the supermarket in beautifully arranged packets; to me that is how meat is "made".

P.S. I have to admit that Paul's purchase threat worried me senseless. I pondered the thought of posting him 10 packets of Asprin for an oncoming head ache of his that he didn't know about yet.

Disclaimer: please don't really send me money.

Well I just thought in for a penny in for a pound, Suzy. It was either something small and relatively insignificant or a Cat 5 cyclone creator. And seeing as I haven't been responsible for any of the weather so far, why not help out.

At least I don't think I'm responsible, except for maybe that Vixen R200SS I bought a month or two ago off h0ughy and haven't been able to use yet It was third hand at least though.

Sorry OT.

What do i want for Xmas? Peace and good will to all. I have enough toys.

And this is the reason why I don't have a credit card. Otherwise I'd talk myself into buying obscene amounts of astronomy and photography equipment and be in debt eternally. I would just reassure myself that I'd pay it back in the interest free period and then find something else to buy...

"non astro", believe it or not A REALLY GOOD ROLLING PIN! We make a lot of dough at home for pizza (nothing like DIY pizza, oh yum), and other stuff, that the crappie ones usually sold just can't deal with a bit of 'shoulder', .

Well the last few days showed a bit of promise a few clouds around reasonable night last night to the point of almost getting the scope out late. But....... Decided not to because today was going to be a little hectic with missing results and a staff end of year Thingy. I have now finished work until January 17th and guess what? The rain as come back the rain tank is overflowing into the backyard AGAIN.
Great start to the holiday.

Yes Ponders it is a fantastic feeling. I should have been finished yesterday but the other engineering teacher as gone on "stress leave" and I have had to pickup where he left off and it's not a matter of signing the appropriate paper work as you are aware. Get the student file out check roll book check against exams and then make a decision J M or K. I think I need stress leave or at least a bottle of Bundy
