Chris my Panasonic 50 inch Plasma is 1200 wide x 870 high including the footstand.
A word of caution regarding claims that Brand X is really a name brand rebadged, it's a common sales ploy, I know of a couple of instances where the cheaper units have failed shortly after the warranty period expired, in both cases the salesman had given the "rebadged" story as part of the sales pitch.
