Congrats Greg, great first light!
Looks like the little hiccup's sorted now.
Excellent round, sharp stars all the way from edge to edge.
Good run down on everything as well.

Man the 17" scope makes the ME look almost small

Know what you mean with the weather, I think most of us are suffering from this, mmm so called La Nina effect. Hard to take with new gear just sitting waiting.. waiting...

Look forward to your next images with this fantastic setup (no doubt clear just in time for DLS.

Nice work Greg. The detail is very sharp and I am sure you will improve with each image. I would be very happy to have this image, especially with the small Ha regions showing in the right hand edge of the galaxy.
