Apps are a different matter... but there are also interactive magazines such as the Nat Geo Interactive magazine that I subscribe to through Zineo for the iPad. Interactive magazines are mind-bogglingly good. I wouldn't buy another paper Nat Geo, and I've been buying them for pretty-much my whole life.

BTW After using the iPad (when the kids weren't using it

), I ended up buying an iPod for myself to use for my business apps.
So handy to have stock levels, orders etc at you fingertips and carry around in your pocket.
