Not really John, I am intimidated by you webcammmers, I just enjoy looking at what they can do - how do you top that!? I had a couple of half assed goes over a long period - didnt have it worked out back then - supposed to use the optical zoom ect.
here's a saturn thru my mates 12" f6 on a crappy night of seeing last march? image scale is puny due to a few things, no zoom ect. - also the stacking proggy's on mac's are strange and weird - KIS keiths image stacker is the best - but its like IRIS i suspect written by and for people of a advanced puter/programming knowledge - life is too short to read and understand memorize the how to! LOL i used free mac proggy lynkeos for stacking three shots in the small saturn - unfortunately i kept changing settings exposure ect. when aquiring and they wouldnt match up for stacking of course - cant figure out how to auto rotate to match them up?
the larger image is a single shot - i have some jupes as well - but not worth posting

and Thanks again beren! i love the big sprays and splats its like they happened yesterday

there's a stacked Saturn shot (with full russian raw mode hack in camera) on the front page of http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Coolpix4500Digital_Astro/ by a Tom Carney that shows the best that a 4500 can do on a planet i guess - i have yoinked it for here

Wow - I am gobsmacked The resolution and quality had me completely fooled into thinking it was a mosaic.

Cheers

Thanks for posting the saturns mate. Still nice despite the lack of image scale.
