Started getting the gear together today to film and take pictures of the eclipse and the rain set in. No chance of even seeing it now

Perfectly clear here in Lane Cove. Well almost; a few clouds coming up below the blazing moon. Here's hoping it stays clear.

Been cloudy and raining here all day.
Can see a very fuzzy moon through the cloud cover at the moment, but I don't think it will clear anytime soon.

Oh well.
You're right Suzy, we're used to it.
Not happy, but used to it.

Got the LX200 10" setup with the Canon 300d ready to take some time laps shots. All clear and still here in Aselaide. This is the first time I have tried this so keep ya fingers crossed for me. I am using DSL Shutter to take shots a 7 sec intervals.. I have tested the setup and it worked fine today. I guess thats a disaster in the making tonight .. I hope to be able to stick all the pics together to make a time laps movie... All alot of fun anyway... For once its a clear night in Adelaide..

good Luck all

Mardy
