Dont know if I should come up tonight. This flu is getting worse.

I'll keep an eye on the weather and make a decision soon.

A review of proceedings, mainly for the benefit of absent friends:

A small band of intrepid members turned up.
In order of arrival
Deeno
Allan_L
Rickapoody
Inmykombie
Dave (friend of Deeno)
Joe
RB.

The sky was nice and dark sporadically. (RB's word of the day)
The air was still and dry (until after midnight)
Clouds were rare and occasional.

Until Joe turned up, the night was quiet (Both Geoff and myself leaving our coffee grinders at home.

Oh, but then there were the "other" noises.
Between the general bowel disfunctions, the canned "disfunction" machine, and the talented digeridoo attempts, well lets just say it was hard to tell the difference most of the time, to the amusement of all unfortionate enough to be within "striking" distance.
Fun and laughter were the winners.

The binocular telescope performed well and provided nice clear wide field views to an increasing audience.

Rick's DOB was the main power in viewing - thanks Rick for all the nice views

It was good to catch up with everyone again.
Hoping for a bigger turn up next time.

Thanks for reading

I am sure Allan means the Bt100's that gave beautiful widefield views.

As for the noises, a little battery powered machine ( similar to Arthurs at lostock ) was in use during the night.

Apart from that you missed some Chivas Regal, meat pies and some laughs.

I am glad I made the treck with Rick who offered to be the driver and kept me out till the "wee" hours.

Too bad there isnt two New Moons evry month I reckon.

Thx.

geoffro.

Nutha noice noit again.
Being a long weekend, it was only a few of the regular band of diehards who rocked up, but well worth it.
Good to catch up with RB and Deeno again along with Allan, Geoff and Joe.
Nice to meet Dave (friend of Deeno) who braved the cold until quite late.
Thanks to Al for those choice pies. Came in real handy for the cold and warmed up the cockles. Lovely Chivas too Geoff, Ta.
Loved your new 'remote' Geoff. It definitely 'blew' the silence away and with so many 'variations' in effects. How was the serenity?????!!!!!
Cheers until next one.
