Marc it is golden so that is ok, and there is a load of red in the universe ( must be red wine astronomy ).

Hi Marc, can you or anyone identify the small red nebula below Alpha Crux, just over half way to the edge of your image. I couldn't find anything on The Sky6. Your image shows it well.

Yes Lester, I have another older shot on my newtonian where it appears right on the edge of the field. No idea what it is. Some Hii region or planetary? Maybe a narrowfield target for Fred as it looks real tiny.
