Kilgore- Smell that? You smell that? Lance- What? Kilgore- Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. Kilgore- I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like......
Victory.
There are soooo many!
First one that spring to mind is "Time to Die" - Blade Runner
There are many parts of that movie I would love to quote
Molly already has posted the youtube of that and another I love too which is the 2001 1.....
Bartman
The last scene of "Michael Clayton" where George Clooney backs Tilda Swinton into a no way out situation and then she realizes she's been busted. Awesome movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyL1k...eature=related
I didnt remember, infact I dont think Ive seen it until now, but thats a bit of good ole fashion comedy there. I remember Danny Kaye ?? of course but not this. Many might think that by todays standards this piece is a bit naff, maybe but thats how they did is back then and it was funny.
To the thread. There are way too many favourite scenes, in fact theres one every movie isnt there ??? Its a great thread.
Molly that was hysterical!! I hadn't seen that movie since I was really young. Back then, they were so camp, like the Carry On movies. But they were brilliant!
And what about "You Got Mail" when they meet for the first time at the park and she has tears in her eyes when she says "I was hoping it would be you". Just thinking about it again is making me teary. I cry everytime I see that part. Okay, chick flick I know.
