Very nice Peter, very vibrant colours which light the image up and lift it to a new level.

Very nice, huge field, great star colours and smooth but containing heaps of detail. Lovely work.

Thanks Paul. I managed to get some full res data (as opposed to mainly binned 2x2) after another clear night here ....and looking at the raw data...am thinking the whole thing looks a little clunky and needs a total re-do.

To explain..here is a crop of the nebula core from last nights effort with minimal processing....

Ah...it never ends!

Now that core is very tidy indeed, masterfull (minimal?) processing, cant see the need for a redo on that. A bit more decon perhaps, but thats all.

Yeah that core looks superb. So smooth and natural looking. The detail looks 3D too. Always time for reprocessing.

Ahh HAAAA ... some full res at last!! Nice detail. Yep, like Fred said - some gentle decon will highlight that detail very nicely. Looks like better res than the original (?)
