I guess it should.
However, please note I do not use any filters.
I tried to see if the filter would help (as it should..) but after playing with processing, I was not convinced it is worth the expense.. the colour shift etc was very similar at the end with filter and with no filter. So I abandoned the idea

Anyway, the best "filter" is to go out of town.. as far away as you find practical :-)

I gave it a shot..using CS3.

It's much better although I overdid it somewhat.

A few artifacts & graininess in this as a result of converting it to a small jpg.

Thanks for your help. I'm a little clearer now.

Damn.

is there anyway to use the USB to control the camera?
The high end Pentax DSLR's you can (K10D) but not my entry level one.

I'm not too concerned about it just yet as my skill at drift aligning is not good enough to worry about any shots with exposures greater than 30s anyway!!! I'm still at the baby step stages...

Thanks Mario.

I was unsure about what functions you had or could run.

As you can see. 15 seconds with Robs short FL scope worked pretty much ok but this depends upon your scope & its FL.

I liked his scope soooo much...it's got me an itch!
