I'm neutral now.

A crop from a self-portrait study (minimalist lighting techniques).

We've had 30mm in the last 24 hours out my way and there are erosion gullys that look like raging rivers around the area at the moment.

At RFS training this afternoon the theme was property protection. The comment was made "is that learning how to pack sandbags and build levees"

True, but I look at it this way - it could be a lot worse with extreme high temps, bushfires, lives lost, and horrid smoke which lingers for a month or so.

Most smoke that occurs here is caused by the DSE. Usually on clear days in Autumn. Oh how I love them.

Well Humayun and Barry - I went down to Omaroo and I now know that I canceled appropriately. It rained from Friday lunch time until when I left - today at 10:30am - solid. It didn't let up.

So... next time, huh?

Sounds like you had a better time than me then Barry - I weeded! 120 acres is a lot to weed on your own. It'll take me 6 months at the rate I'm going! LOL!

Good to see you went to the KV. I love it lots.
