L glass is so awesome....


I opened the images before reading your equip and could tell from the quality what glass you were using.

Are you Steve E on POTN or under a different name? I frequent POTN but not enough to remember names, would love to check more of your work.

I think you have found a great place here, although POTN is great we have a different more positive crowd around here.

Keep the images coming, even if you have posted them on POTN i'm sure the crowd here would love to see them, many wouldn't on POTN.

I go by nighthound at POTN. It's a name that goes back to my intro into my photography obsession which was astro work.

I agree, L-series glass really is amazing. There's nothing quite like i in my book, I started with the 100-400L. I shot with it (hooked to the 20D and 5D) for about 2 years before getting the 500L. Now the 100-400L sits idle except for certain locations that don't require long hikes. Tough to haul along everything on 3 mile(5 km) hikes.
