Hi there and Welcome.
There's not a duff suggestion here.
My $.02 would be a decent, but not expensive zoom EP in the 8-24mm range. Meade, Baader Planetarium, vixen, Pentax and Nikon all make very good ones.
This way you canget a feel for the focal lengths you prefer and your scope can handle. For me 42mm is a tad wide, I prefer 32-35 as the widest as it provides great views with useful maginification.

If you want to jump in at the deep end I'd go:
Televue 24mm Panoptic & barlow.
or
Televue 15mm Plossl or 19mm Panoptic and University Optics 26mm SWA + Barlow.

But really I'd start with the zoom!
"Good Scope"

this is a really good thread.

after spending so much on the actual scope, i really wanted to squeeze the best value i could out of the eyepiece purchases.

went with a 17mm Baader hyperion, after recommendations here, and it is a really good EP. It gives me 75x (great for M42!) or 150x with a barlow. i would probably be happy if this was my only EP.

i bought a 2nd-hand LVW 6mm as well, which is good for planets.

would like to next upgrade the stock 26mm Meade EP to a GSO 30mm superview for the wide field experience.

this EP range should keep me happy for quite a while!!
