Thanks Alex,

I checked a few images around the place and yeah, the Keyhole
really is embedded in a sickly Magenta/Aqua field but with low
saturation. My image for some reason comes out with just the
right saturation 'feel' to it with a 100% blend of LRGB.
With only a sky background correction, I do nothing more?
I read that the blend should be more like 50% for the RGB....
Not sure what is happening there. I gotta do more reading up
on the subject.
Also...the individual RGBs are not sharpened...only the Lum.
Does that matter?

I thought there was more to it than that.
Anyway...another 24hrs of LLRGB attempts and I have no better image
than the previos one posted.
Here are a few crops though. Finger with gross over-sharpening
and Humunculus with a different curve.

you only want to sharpen the lum.. the RGB images can even be blurred if they are noisy.. the Lum layer should be 100% opacity and the colour (set to either soften or colour blending mode) should be anywhere between 40 ~ 50% opacity, with saturation boosted rather heavily...

If your raws are only 1.6mb each, feel free to E-mail them to me.. I'd love to have a stab at the processing.. PM me and I'll send you my email address if you're keen...
