Shadows/hihglights tool in Photoshop with M42 area lasooed

Greg.

Thanks Greg. I really appreciate the help. You turned up on Saturday just after i had processed the image for the first time. I enjoyed your talk - managed to stay awake

Nice job on the repro, Mike

You've brought out plenty of detail in the neb, which was originally somewhat burnt out.

I like it, Dave! Very nice indeed! Lots of detail and dust. I also like Mike's processing - it adds a bit more life to it.

Al.

ah yes well i thought that Mike Added some extra herbs and spices to the mix - and a few tweaks, but i will leave that to him to describe his image processing prowess for me a mere mortal i will go down another path and see the result, reverse and follow the next one until i find the promise land

Dave - my humble apologies - I don't know how I missed this image, I swore I commented on this earlier. Excellent wide field image - plenty of dust, details and nice 'n' sharp with good tracking.

Dave

David,

This has come up quite spectacular.

Kudos to you. I saw how chuffed you were when you showed me on your screen, and rightly so.

Regards,
Humayun
