Even worse. Light only works when one photon hits another and the 2nd photon bounces off to be "seen". So we're really only seeing a Xerox of the universe. And an 'old' one at that. We never experience (except whithin ourselves,Grasshoppers), the here and now. Light, like tought or touch or sound or smell does not have infinite speed. It takes time to go from A to B. Everything we experience has already happend. Even if its only a 1/2 trillionth of a second ago!
Gives me the shivers!!!!

I saw this heading in a news item ...
"New Theories May Shed Light On Dark Matter".

Of course, they had the words muddled. It should have read ...
"New Light On Theories May Shed Dark Matter".

Yes, the 'Future Light Cone' and 'Hyper-Surface of the Present' are not our playgrounds.

Sorry I have been away ...
Very interesting ..I often try to visualise if light is a particle like just how many particles would go to make up a simple beam of just visual light and then if you try and imagine it like billions of pool balls the extrodinary number of "pool balls" ..photons ... and just what they would look like if you could actualty examine one close up and stationary..and I know that observation would not be worth zip because the observation would change all the...

I ofter think that dark energy may in fact be light energy... and that as more photons are made the Universe grows to fit them it...

I was laying in the car last night looking at the river and some lights reflecting..it looked like a giant snake ..so beautiful and as you looked it seemed as if it were alive... and yes I had a few but that had nothing to do with being able to appreciate the beauty of the light play on the water.
