loved ghost.

felt sorry for him & his family when it was reported he had died earlier in the year and they all had to defend him and 'prove' he was still alive. That was terrible.

However if a young person dies before their parents get old, then it is extremely sad.

So true Leon, parents should never outlive their children.
Never saw a movie of Patrick Swaze I didn't enjoy, may he rest in peace.

I remember the first time I saw him in a movie, "The Outsiders" - based on a novel of the same name by S E Hinton.
(loved this book when I was a kid)

Not many people know that he was part Apache and his mum was a dance choreographer. Patrick went a step further and attended top ballet schools in New York.
He got his first break performing as Danny Zuko in the stage performance of "Grease" and the rest is as they say "History".

Missed from the big screen since 2003 and was working right till the end without any pain killers

RIP

Good on him. If you have something you're passionate about to focus on, you seem to forget about pain, for a while anyway.

He said he couldn't give his part in "The Beast" justice if he was numbed on pain killers.
I'd say that this was also a mindset that he had from being an alcoholic in earlier years
