Thanks for the encouragement..when I first floated the idea my wife said
"you can't be serious..." but now seems happy with the new toy in the garage....which is now the subject of obligation number one...I promised to clean up the garage.

Anyone interested in a low Km Peugeot 206cc???
what the peugeot is the cleanout, at least when i clean my garage out the sirius dome observatory will go LOL. best of luck, cleaning out like that usually means you find projects you were meant to get to some time ago
I may be interested in selling mine in a year or so.... cheaper than you might think, should I contact you then? You can start saving now and I will deliver it too. Dennis.
My '92 911 C4, your 348. A course to be agreed.
Winner gets the other's telescopes!
You might win a Meade 102 ED/APO on a Porta-Mount. If you're dead lucky
Darn! I was onto a sure thing. Belts. Belts. Belts. Did I mention belts?
And oil.
Take the recommended service intervals and halve them and you'll be able to leave it to your grand-kids.
Ignore them and you will hear nothing but the happy voice of your mechanic saying "That'll be $35,000 for the new engine sir - Marge! we're going to Europe this year!"
On the other hand don't be afraid to thrash it. I beat my old 328 mercilessly and it kept coming back for more.
Very nice aquisition. Hope you enjoy it.

Oh yeah. Had a Fiat 124CC that busted a cam belt mid flight.
Was not pretty.
Valves perforated pistons. Totally buggered the head.
The 348 belts were changed only a few months ago. Already changed the tranny oil. Still deciding whether Nulon PFTE for the engine (dry sump) is a good idea.

Pete, there is no way I would do that. The way they do their cylinder finish, piston clearance and ring pressure, PTFE is a no no.( I had looked into this some years ago)
Having said that if you get the ok from a real Ferrari engine builder, well then do it.

WOW!!! Didn't know selling astro gear was THAT lucrative!!! Well done!!!! Say, if a buy a PME from you will you let me take it (the car) for a spin?
Cheers, Marcus
I wish.... If it were not for the day job I think the business would have closed up long ago. But...that might be a good marketing ploy! ....how many PME's can I put you down for
