Oooooh Yeah bring on Sydney

Sadden to hear Mortlock has been sidelined from injury. He is one of your
danger men, and a great player in my book.

Cheers,CS

Waaaahooo!! the AB's retain the Bledisloe Cup! The Wallabies
basically took themselves out of the game with lack of disipline at the
wrong part of the game. Conceding a penalty deep in their own half
with a minite or two to go. So I guess Dan Carter did come and save
the day. Only won by a point but a win is a win. Personally I thought
the AB's played like crap with the amount of possession they had in
both halves of the game they should of loaded up the score board.

Now you fellas give them box a hiding on your own turf now wont you

Bugger doesn't even come close i'm afraid

Really good game though. Great running rugby from both sides. All Blacks did deserve the win after having the best of the territory but still heartbreaking to lose another tight one.

I'm sure we'll win in Wellington

Flattering scoreline in the end to us

I'll be at Suncorp this weekend to cheer us on to our first win in 7 tri-nations matches On second thoughts it may not be pretty - anyone want a couple of seats

At last ...

Hi All,

Well at last we turned up, held on to the ball and played enterprising running rugby and reaped the reward.

That was the best Wallabies scrum I've seen in ages. The seemingly invincible Boks scrum was well and truly tamed. The line out worked ... okay (a few heart in the mouth moments) and the new half and hooker I think showed why they will have long careers in the gold and green. Berrick Barnes played to his potential, they were quick to the break-down and thoroughly deserved to win.

Well done the Wallabies -- at last. The young guys were teriffic!

Looking forward to the game at Wellington in a fortnight.

Best,

Les D

They don't show union on TV in Melbourne during sane hours if at all.

Its been that long since I've seen the Wallabies on TV, just wondering how Nick Farr Jones and David Campese went

You think it is hard finding Rugby Union (any footy really) on TV in Melbourne...try watching it from Connecticut!

Glad the boys got across for a win!

Yup the Wallabies turned up and played with a lot of heart. What a great
game it was too. I can truly say I think they played 80 min of Rugby.
Very unlucky that the score board didn't have another 21 pnts from
those almost tries. I think you could see by around the halfway point
of the first half the boks were starting to tire from the pressure the
Wallabies were putting on them. It's been along time since we have seen
a Wallabies side play like that. Good on them and great to see.

It is really going to heat up the last two games. It has also opened the
comp up for the AB's.

gman, you only get to see the matches the Wallabies play on free to air
in NSW. Which I think really stinks... I think it was O'neils idea and
probably why Rugby Union has lost it's popularity in Oz. It was taken
away from the masses.

Looking forward to next week!

Cheers,CS

Yep, CS, the same problem's happening in NZ. Not many people care at all about the rugby now, since Sky TV controls all screenings of rugby in NZ, and it's very expensive to subscribe to Sky.

I'm the only person I know who's even vaguely following the tri-nations.

Great way to kill a sport, Sky TV.

I used to watch the Tri-Nations on cable in Quebec on Fox Sports. I
watch it now on Austar Fox 3 . Rugby Union along with INXS and
Midnight Oil on the radio every now and again was like having a lil bit
of home.

Cheers,CS
